In line with OLACEFS’ aims to carry out specialized scientific research and develop study, training, specialization, counseling, technical assistance, training and coordination in the service of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Latin America and the Caribbean, and in order to encourage the development and improvement of its members, there have been 13 research competitions since 1988 which have served to develop various topics related to government auditing.
