OLACEFS General Assembly is the highest body of the organization and meets annually. It is being hosted this year by the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic of Paraguay. In accordance with internal norms, prior to the start of a General Assembly a meeting of the organization’s Governing Board is held, where administrative issues to be discussed during the Assembly are reviewed.
OLACEFS XXVII Ordinary General Assembly will be held from October 4 – 6, 2017, in the city of Asunción, Paraguay, and is expected to be attended by audit institutions from around the world, as well as international cooperation agencies and other entities related to the functioning of SAIs.
The issues to be tackled technically at the General Assembly will be “The Use of Big Data Analysis in the Audit Function” and “Performance Audits in the Evaluation of Sustainable Development Goals” . The event offers an excellent opportunity to address these issues, assess the progress made by our community at regional and global level and determine future action.
