In order to deepen the gender perspective, the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Mercosur and Associated Countries (EFSUR) will undertake a series of discussions on gender equality in different contexts, in which the role of women, leadership and challenges for equal participation will be the main theme of said event, seeking to foster active interest role of women in decision-making processes at all levels.
The cycle will be welcomed by Dr. Camilo Benítez Aldana, Comptroller General of the Republic of Paraguay and Econ. Nelson Shack Yalta, Comptroller General of the Republic of Peru and President of OLACEFS
In this first discussion on gender equality, we will have the participation of women leaders who hold decision-making positions in the SAIs of the region, where three different panels will be held where the topics to be discussed will be: The role of Women in Politics, Women and the Pandemic, and Auditing and Gender.
This first meeting will be held through the ZOOM platform, on August 26, 2021, 11am (Buenos Aires).
