The OLACEFS Extraordinary General Assembly will take place on October 28. The meeting, organized by the Presidency of the Regional Organization and exercised by the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic of Peru, will have the participation and coordination of the Executive Secretariat, Technical Bodies, Working Groups, as well as full and associate members.

This year’s General Assembly, just as the Meeting of the Board of Directors, will be held virtually in view of the health emergency and the prevention measures that the countries of the region have been adopting regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Presidency and the Executive Secretariat have extended the invitation to all full and associate members of OLACEFS to participate in the General Assembly. The session, planned to be held in an executive capacity, will deal with various issues, including the ratification of the venue for the 2021 General Assembly and its technical topics, approval of the extension of mandates for an additional year, admission of new associate members, the relaunching of the Latin American and Caribbean Anti-Corruption Network – RLACC, and the implementation of new international agreements, among others.

The development of the 2020 General Assembly shows that our Regional Organization is not stopping and has been adapting to the new normal, continuing with its work through the intensive use of information and communication technologies.
