The Institute for Fiscal Studies of Spain invites the officials of OLACEFS member SAIs to apply for the VII edition of the “Official University Master’s Degree in Public Finance and Financial and Tax Administration. Specialty: Financial Administration.” This Master Degree has been developed with great success in recent years and is adapted to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

It is a university postgraduate course specifically aimed at Latin America and is carried out in collaboration between the Institute for Fiscal Studies and the National University of Distance Education (UNED). In addition, other Spanish and international institutions participate, such as ICEX Spain Exports and Investments, the Carolina Foundation, the General Comptroller of the State Administration (IGAE) and the Directorate-General of Budget (DGP).

The Master’s degree has two specializations, one in Financial Administration and the other in Tax Administration. The specialization in Financial Administration, which is promoted for OLACEFS member SAIs, offers high-level academic and professional training in matters related to the organization, design, planning and management of financial systems and their administrations.

The Master’s degree deals mainly with accounting, budgeting and spending control; it has a duration of 1 year; it is in online mode with two face-to-face seminars; the tuition fee is expected to be approximately 5,375 € (this price is subject to revision according to the official prices approved annually by the corresponding Ministry); and finally, this price may be financed by the participants directly or through their Institutions according to the reality and/or availability of each SAI.

The Program will be developed during the next academic year 2021/22 (September 2021 to September 2022). The dates are indicative and may vary depending on the final starting date of the Master’s program.

  • Academic certificates with subjects taken, by years or semesters.
