The I International Forum on Public Sector Auditing will be held on June 24 and 25, with the topic Supervision of Actions to Combat COVID-19.
The event is organized by the Court of Accounts of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (TCE-RS) of Brazil, in collaboration with the Rui Barbosa Institute (IRB), the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU-Brazil), the Association of Members of Courts of Accounts of Brazil (Atricon), the National Council of Presidents of the Courts of Accounts (CNPTC), the National Association of Auditors for the External Control of the Brazilian Courts of Accounts (ANTC), the National Association of the Members of the Office of the Public Prosecutor of Accounts (AMPCON), the National Council of Prosecutors-General of Accounts (CNPGC), the Brazilian Association of Municipal Courts of Accounts (ABRACOM) and the National Association of Ministers and Deputy Counselors of the Courts of Accounts (AUDICON).
Representatives of the oversight and control bodies of Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Mozambique, Paraguay and Portugal will participate in the Forum, as well as the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI), the Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS), the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) and the Organization (EURORAI).
The 1st International Forum on Public Sector Auditing aims to promote the exchange of experiences between external control bodies during the COVID-19 pandemic, facilitating the exchange of information and improving the collaboration mechanisms between the supervisory and supervised bodies, in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the application of public resources.
The event will include simultaneous translation.
